Hoping last game was just a blip due to a selection oversight which failed to respect the challenge St. Mirren would mount.
A lot of that game we looked out of ideas and when our regulars were introduced, they couldn’t get to grips with the game.
At the time, I was fully behind hounding Welsh but now as the next game draws closer, it strongly appears he may feature again. I’m hoping the break most of the fit guys have had will refresh them to start getting back to the football we’ve came to enjoy so far this season. But back to Welsh, he needs games to gain confidence and more importantly, get up to speed with our current game plan. We need the guys on the sidelines to be match ready whenever they are needed so hopefully wee starts now and again as well as 20-30 mins in other games can get guys like Welsh and co up to speed and comfortable in our set up
