Michael Stewart is probably one of the most respected media pundits amongst the Celtic supporting community. Regarded as someone who calls it as he sees it and who isn’t afraid of taking some other absurd Scottish clubs to task, he has even been one of the rare non-former Celtic players to be on punditry duties…
Would rather have CCV in the team than be without him, agree i think he’s been a good addition. HH
I have the upmost respect for Stewart, but he’s way off the mark this time. Instead of continually blaming the defenders for every goal, why not have a closer look at the midfielders that are supposed to be dropping back to help the defenders when needed. More than a few goals conceded have been the result of the inability of certain players.

He needs someone with him who is dominant in the air. Think that he might be third choice when Chris Julien gets back in to the team.
we have a completely new defence but defending high balls is still a big problem.
CCV is solid and a good player. I don’t understand why he has the responsibility to bring the ball forward so often. I’ll bet he has more touches and passes than anyone.
Need to have Calum drop back and collect it because he’s an inventive, and quicker passer.
Having CCV or Britton bring it forward slows everything down.
Still, it’s way better than when Boyata used to do it.
