BBC pundit Michael Stewart has praised Celtic and Ange Postecoglou after the Hoops bossed Rangers at Parkhead last night. In an utterly dominant performance, Celtic out-though and out-fought Rangers to every ball, created countless chances and made it a trio of goals before half-time. It was an instant classic Glasgow Derby, for the Celtic-minded, with…

I think Ange (thanks to the backing of the Board via Nicholson) is 6 months ahead of his own schedule.
I don’t think he envisaged such a decline in The 2angers defence this Season or that his style and approach would have been taken up so quickly by those already at the Club myself.
I think he was probably expecting the likes of marathon man / Zorro to take to his high tempo game but that most of them would struggle at the shift in gears and mentality to do it successfully.
On the whole you would have to argue they have.
Even the likes of Rogic who as we know has struggled at an even more sedentary pace under Lenny and Brendan at times.
He must be chomping at the bit knowing he has so much quality still to come back which in turn creates the possibility of the tempo being maintained for a full game and not just half of one.
The 5 subs is also of benefit
