Michael Stewart's incredible radio praise for Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou yesterday

Michael Stewart was left mightily impressed with Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou yesterday. Celtic won comfortably against Ross County with a 3-0 scoreline, but it wasn’t Ange’s tactics, team selection or substitutions that drew praise from the high-profile pundit. It was actually the post-match media interview with BBC reporter Kenny Macintyre. Photo by ANP Sport via…

Jees everyone on this site absolutely believes Ange is the Messiah …

Yet his side have lost the 2 games that actually mean anything so far and are 3 points behind the HUNS after a handful of games …in 5th!!! place in a second rate league …

Now before you ALL start bleating about Ange and it’s NOT his fault …

I said this ON his arrival …

He will / should be judged by these defining games…

Yes it’s early days … but jees the BS about this guy when he has achieved ZERO so far is beyond comprehension …

… did you not see what we had to put up with last year? Are you blind and deaf? He’s everything Lennon could never be! Just gets on with it and has a pragmatic approach to any issues. No melodrama and he’s getting rightful respect for that. We’re not stupid, and we know as well as you do that he needs to deliver results. But things are going in the right direction and we may need the Jan transfer window to complete the transition. And if Ange gets us to Jan, still in contention then Bril! So cheer up and be thankful for positive fans. :four_leaf_clover::four_leaf_clover:

Your right Ange is not the Messiah, but after only five games his team are only three points off the top with a plus thirteen goal difference, and still have 33 games to go. I would have thought after last seasons debacle most fans will be reasonably happy with that situation, a league is not usually decided after five games. Try looking on the bright side of life for a change, you will feel so much better.

If I think about the debacle over the non appointment of Eddie Howe, and the manager we now have, I become ever more convinced we dodged a bullet and won the lottery ! :grinning:

‘Sonny’ Jim here bhoys …:+1:

Positive head on from now …

Lets get a win in Europe tonight :rofl::rofl:

And I quote…

‘ What did we learn?

Postecoglou’s tenure is still in its infancy but his side’s European endeavours already have a common theme, with enterprising attacking play undermined by defensive vulnerabilities.

Having built a commanding and deserved lead, Celtic crumbled with alarming ease.

However, in mitigation, the Scottish side were missing so many key players that they can take positives from running Betis - the sixth-best side in Spain last season - so close.’
