He has a point. Consider what you just wrote about “ultimate dominance and permanent bragging rights.”
You want that as a goal? So you can skewer rival fans? That quickly fades when a new season comes around and where does it leave us,
No one asked what happens when it’s over. Even if we had achieved it, we’d still be facing a mass exodus because players have nothing else to achieve.
This was vanity. And boy are we paying for it.
So I think there is some truth in what he says.

I agree the ten would’ve been fantastic, something no other team has done, but that’s all it was to me. I’m no Biggot or even racist, and I’m not calling you one David, but I do hate how they win games, thanks to their drinking buddies. That has to be stopped ASAP. Sack them all and start again from a far, not down south abroad. Bring in European bigots sorry Referees from Italy, only the good ones.
