Newcastle United and Eddie Howe have had a nightmare of a day in the FA Cup and it’s another reminder that Celtic dodged a bullet when our deal to bring him to Glasgow collapsed. The Magpies have shockingly lost 1-0 at home to Cambridge United. The U’s currently sit 16th in English League One, yet…
Eddie Howe is a joke, evem with £305million he still can’t put together a wining team, nowhere near Celtic class the man is a clown
To be fair, there’s more wrong at Newcastle than Eddie Howe!
However, from the very first mention of Eddie Howe to Celtic, I was praying it wouldn’t happen! Howe never was the right man for the job! Too much “Mr. Nice Guy”.
He clearly does not have what it takes to manage a club as big as Newcastle or ours! We are Scotland’s only real big club with a history as long as both of your arms and legs combined!
He could never have coped in the goldfish bowl that is Scottish football.
Easy living on the south coast of England is a billion miles away from the constant demands of Paradise and the Celtic fan base!
Eddie Howe genuinely was never a good choice for us.
I seriously still have doubts about Ange, but he has a greater mentality than Howe and is very much a stronger person, far better equipped to handle a club of our magnitude!
When Newcastle announced the hiring of Howe, I stated immediately that I did not believe he would last beyond the end of this season, if in fact he lasts until it even ends.
He was not and is not a strong enough person for either job.
He is more suited to teams where winning isn’t that important.
Clear growing pains for Newcastle! They will already know they moved too quickly and hired the wrong guy!
We dodged a bullet for sure.
