Celtic have beaten Rangers at Ibrox 2-1 this afternoon thanks to goals from Tom Rogic and Cameron Carter-Vickers. The travelling Bhoys were under the cosh early on in the encounter but weathered an initial storm to fight back into the game and get ahead by the interval. In the second half, Celtic’s defensive prowess came…
Also thought a few guys put in great efforts.
Taylor saw Juranovic cost us the goal and made sure our defensive line was covered as best as he could after that.
Maeda defending back 10 yards from goal showed the level of commitment our guys were willing to put in.
Probably so many others gaining good merit but I felt these guys stood out the most
Best defensive performance for as long as I can remember, a massive win and the title is on
Players all showed bravery after a sloppy start and showed tremendous commitment as a team.
i felt we sat too deep in the final 20 minutes as i thought we had goals in us when we attacked them.
Daft passing in our box made some spells edgy or when G.G failed to hold the ball in and they stole it and broke on us otherwise the team seemed in control of the match when we got possession.
The result was the most important thing today but i hope we can attack and kill them off quicker at Hampden.
Most impressive part was we never allowed them to bully us and stayed strong through out.
i never thought id ever say this but Willie Collum never buckled today or gave them a penalty they were baying for through out the match.
