Celtic great Pat Bonner has called out striker Albian Ajeti for another quiet display at Pittodrie yesterday. Swiss forward Ajeti has lost his place in the Hoops starting XI after the return of Kyogo Furuhashi. Albian initially looked like threatening to make an impact after netting three goals in his first two games back in…
Ajeti has CONTINUED to fail Im not in agreement he was the only fit forward to bring on and his total lack of effort proved Packies point FED UP having to put up with terrible management decisions most fans can see errors of judgement is Kennedy and strachan the fault NO Ange is in charge do what your paid for or leave
It’s embarrasing, should have put GG on Ajeti cost 5 mill but no c*** at West Ham even knew who he was and no harm to Montgomery but we should give Scales a few starts he was a regular for Shamrock and played in Europe and he’s 23 no 13 yrs old he’ll be 26 time he gets a start no doubt.HH
He will continue to fail if we continue to deploy him in the wrong role in attack.
He’s not a lead the line number 9 Ajeti he’s an out and out poacher and as such requires a strike partner to play off of.
It made absolutely no sense moving Kyogo out into the wing role and leaving Ajeti to lead the line other than Kyogo was knackered and Ange fancied having a fresh pair of legs running around like a headless chicken.
Bacause that’s exactly what will ( and did ) happen with Ajeti.
Giakoumakis was and is the obvious solution to playing Ajeti properly.
He does lead the the line and will create the space for Ajeti to capitalise on in the 6 yard area where he is most effective.
Same as Stokes was for Hooper another out and out poacher.
He needs that close support because without it he’s not going to have much of an impact on the central defence.
