Why would we want to bring in a player who can’t get a game for Middlesbrough? It just doesn’t make any sense. He looked a good player when he was with us, but sometimes players just don’t progress the way their potential dictates they should. Whether that’s a lack of drive, or apathy I don’t know, but it would seem Paddy is lacking in some sort of minerals to be a top level footballer…and top level footballers are the only kind we should be trying to attract at Celtic as far as I’m concerned.
I would be surprised if we were interested in him to be honest, probably time for all parties to move on
I agree John, on both counts
I broadly agree. Definitely a heart v. head thing; he’ll want decent wages, but he probably hasn’t done enough since leaving Celtic.
