Mikey Johnston has insisted people don’t understand the efforts he’s gone to after suffering from multiple injuries at Celtic. The winger has been criticised by plenty of people over the years, including club supporters, for seemingly never being fit enough to go through a gauntlet of regular matches. He’s only made a handful of starts…
Hopefully he can stay fit and his body stands up to the managers training drills.
He’s a very decent player but probably will mostly make his impact from the bench.
He can be the key to the door in stuffy games.
When he first started wow, then injury after injury? I don’t know how anyone could say anything bad about him, maybe supporters his age around his area saying stuff? But we not as young as him people. Know we get injured all the time growing up even out running, dislocated tib/fib easy to get.
Now he’s back let’s pray he’s back for a long time.
I feel for the lad. I wasn’t aware that he wasn’t liked by our fans. He should get himself on here and see that most fans rate him as a very exciting player. The only negative things I’ve seen is people saying that he’s made of glass, but that’s always going to be said by some if a player has a string of injuries. Some show compassion, some don’t.
