Ange Postecoglou has admitted the situation with Celtic striker Kyogo is “not good”. Kyogo wasn’t meant to feature tonight. However, an early injury to Albian Ajeti, and Kyogo being the only available striker, means that the Japanese star had to come on. And that he did, to rapturous applause. But every Celtic fan watching knew…
Sorry Ange Kyogo should have been sitting in the stand. You said he needed rest and when the chance came you didn’t give him it. Having said that Kyogo lost a lot of sharpness since the beginning of the season. Any new signings from Japan will arrive having just played a whole season and might face the same problem.
It’s not like Ange hasn’t been through a situation like this before in his managerial career.
Yes injuries are a problem at present.
For every problem there is a solution.
Don’t doubt the boss.
He’s been there done that.
I know it’s comparing apples to oranges, but during his time at Brisbane the boss had an injury-riddled threadbare squad at times - made worse by salary cap restrictions.
He came out a winner - as the Celtic will.
Cheers from Oz and Hail Hail
