Predicted Celtic XI vs Livingston: Five changes as siege mentality forms

Our Celtic XI vs Livingston is one that was highly-successful for Neil Lennon towards the end of 2020. Indeed, Celtic’s best spell of the campaign performance-wise came in December. Wins against Lille, Kilmarnock, Ross County, Hearts, Hamilton, and Dundee United looked to return the confidence back to Parkhead. Then Ibrox happened. But forget all that.…

I would give Stephen Welsh a start. It could be the making of him if he does well at a notoriously difficult venue. Would agree that most of the ‘big’ players will return.

I have to agree, just don’t understand why 67HH could nominate Biton for one of the centre half slots. This is another indictment of the manager, he’s had more than enough time to construct a defence which can actually defend…and he has failed.

In fairness to David, we’re all Stephen Welsh evangelists here. I think it’s more expectation than hope with regards to Nir “he wasn’t even the last man” Bitton.

Oh lads listen, if it was down to me Welsh wouldn’t have been dropped after the Rangers game in October. Thrown to the wolves against Milan for 45 minutes then barely playing after that was a disgrace and does nothing for his development. But this XI is what I THINK Lennon will go for. I see little evidence he’ll play Welsh, even if he probably should.

Looking forward to seeing the big guns back for tomorrow’s game. They’ve not really let us down this season.
