There’s been a definite drop off of Hatate’s effectiveness for me ,his touch at times seem to desert him and his passing can get a bit erratic but I do think this is entirely down to fatigue and not loss of form.
The fact is he’s a terrific passer of the ball and he can effect games with his movement and pass selection.
I’ve been saying it for a few weeks now he looks as if he could do with a week off just to recharge his batteries.
I would have had him on the bench in the last two games and perhaps used him as an impact sub as Ange has done with O’Riley and Rogic.
I think reintroducing Turnbull alongside Rogic or O’Riley will put some much needed energy and competitiveness in the attack whilst not losing too much in terms of a goal threat from range as Hatate and Turnbull both have it in abundance.
