Celtic could look to move potential new signing Johnny Kenny out on loan immediately, the Irish Independent reports. The report states that the Hoops have agreed terms with Sligo Rovers and the deal should be finalised at some stage today. However, they also believe that the striker could be sent back out temporarily. They do…
Manager of Sligo Rovers is Liam Buckley - ex Ireland International player who also played abroad in North America and on the continent in Belgium, Switzerland and Spain. Stephen Bradley is manager of the other Rovers in the League of Ireland Shamrock Rovers. Dermot Desmond estimated to be worth €2.04 billion and is ranked by the Sunday Independent as the ninth-richest person in Ireland has a business interest in Shamrock Rovers (former club of Liam Scales) but not Sligo Rovers which is a Coop club similar to Barcelona and owned by the Fans/Community. It will be interesting to see if 18 years old Kenny whose best position is centre forward will play in Celtic’s reserves or be loaned out - and if loaned out to whom. Definitely a Ange type player, so I can see this purchase being with Ange’s approval with Ange looking at 2022 /23 season or possibly beyond, I would say before introducing Kenny to first team action. But then again, who would have predicted young Joey Dawson (also 18 years of age) coming off the bench for Kyogo after 14 mins against St. Johnston. Great Forum lads, keep up the great work. Hail hail.
