Very easy to sit and play the blame game, but are there any of us who didn’t wonder if the Lawelll home incident wouldn’t be a factor? Or the George Square chaos?

Odds on there was massive family pushback, and who would blame them.

But Celtic should’ve known that months ago and planned to either pay him more or go after someone else and not wasted everyone’s time.

An appointment of Postecoglou whether it be quickly or take time will not win over the support. It’s going to take the appointment of a much higher profile manager than him.
Like it or not, if he is appointed, there will be gaps in the terraces next year, they will not get the numbers renewing season tickets they need. This will affect the budget and doom the project to early failure.
He could turn out to be a success but I very much doubt he’ll get the backing or time required.
If Celtic are struggling to maintain a challenge next year the atmosphere inside Celtic park will be poisonous.

If Taggart was still alive there would be MURDER at Celtic Park.
In the big boys world the time taken for the signature should have run an alarm bell.
The football world has changed and Howe would have been leaving his options open.
We should have closed this down months ago.
