No doubt any England under 21 is a good young player with a potentially high ceiling, but will young Buchanan be able to turn up and hit the ground running? It’s great to see some expediency in the January window for a change, but the players being brought in need to hit the mark immediately.
So … if the club and the manager ARE sure that this guy can be our starting left back, and we can get him for a very reasonable fee, then we should move fast. Again.
would rather have a l\b in the 25-30yr old age group my opinion more experiance in europe would help as well…can’t see being any better than taylor or scales so to be 1st choice he would have to be exceptional & if he was big 6 clubs in england & europe would bid us out of the water!
