Celtic might be after Mohammed Elyounoussi permanently. Admittedly, this news comes from secretive sources [Football Insider], but it’s something worth considering. Elyounoussi has enjoyed two very fruitful spells at Celtic Park, with 20 goals and 12 assists over 53 games for the Bhoys [Transfermarkt]. At 26, the Southampton loanee represents excellent value at a reported…

Yes for 5…decent player but not a main man.

Absolutely NOT, this guy reeks of ‘Rogic Syndrome’ as in, he plays depending on his mood, whether he’s up for it or not on that particular day. Like Rogic, since he arrived, he’s spent more time on the missing list during matches, instead of showing us why Southampton splashed out £18million for him.

I’d rather the money be spent on someone who really has something to prove and WANTS to actually prove it. What happened to that lad Tomas Robert (Laurent Robert son) the right-sided winger now with Airdrie that’s apparently cooking-up a storm that has a lot of clubs, including Celtic interested?

He looks a crackin good prospect but he’s really young. Might be worth taking a punt on in the summer?

Fello Celt, totally agree, he would be worth taking a punt at on in the summer, I’d rather see him ( Tomas Robert) bombing done the right-wing than sitting stirring at the TV waiting on Elyounoussi to make up his mind as to when he feels like joining in and contributing in a match.

Again (coming back to management), we need a manager that knows how to properly engage with and improve young up and coming players, through ‘In-depth Match-Analysis’ of their individual games, a manager that knows how to help young players slot into different formations and shapes that function around different sets of ‘Tactics’, at present, we don’t have that. With Lennon, it’s all ‘Gung-Ho’, ‘Hit and Hope For The Best’ guesswork and then second-guessing himself, pick your best starting 11 and hope for the best, talk about 1940’s style management

I’m not so sure. A brilliant player on his day, but his inconsistency worries me. He is either fantastic or anonymous, one or two great games, then he disappears for the next half dozen. If I had to sum him up in one word, it would be unreliable.

Not even sure he’s worth £5m.

From what I’ve seen he’s a bang average player. Given a run in the team, Mickey Johnston is a step up in class from him.

What’s more worrying is that this decision may be taken by Lawell and/or Lennon!

No spend should be undertaken unless Lennon is out the door.

If he’s given decisions of this magnitude to make then it looks like he’s staying for next season, which is about the most depressing thing I’ve heard since Dubai!

I am glad we didn’t sign anyone in the January window as it gives me confidence Lawwell and Lennon aren’t involved in the long term future if the club
