Celtic midfielder Nir Bitton will leave the club at the end of the season, Israeli broadcaster Sport 5 has reported. The report is actually dated from the 25th of April after an interview with the Celtic veteran. So far the majority of English-speaking outlets have missed it. Sport 5 say that after nine years Bitton…
Think Bitton’s experience could be vital for us moving forward in the next few seasons.
We’ve seen how he can come in and take the pace out of games with a more controlled approach.
For me, unless he’s super homesick, at 30 he’d be worth at least another 2 year deal.
Nothing to lose by keeping Bitton on. We will have new blood in the squad again next year and I think players like Nir will help settle and ground the new Bhoys
Good luck to him the Jersey didn’t need to shrink to fit.
He’s probably been far more versatile than many imagined on arrival and despite opinions to the contrary I think he did well as a converted CB alongside Ajer for an extended period.
I think Ideguchi will be the preferred option under Ange and Nir wants game time not cameo appearances from the bench.
Not one for simply drawing a wage by the sound of it.
