One player who has divided opinion amongst the Celtic support this season more than most has been Norwegian international Mohamed Elyounoussi. I`m not convinced. In my opinion he has been anonymous too often to warrant what for us is a substantial fee and presumably English premier league wages.
I wouldn’t keep him as he doesn’t do enough for me. Having said that he and others might be changed players under a different coach. Too risky to pay big money for.
You would imagine that a £16million pound player such as Elyounoussi would be having a field day in the SPFL, turning it into his playground, where he’s tiring it up week in and week out, scoring for fun as he builds upon his Youtube transfer CV reel of magical Celtic moments.
Instead, the Celtic support have, over the last two seasons, witnessed a very temperamental player that far too often goes missing for long periods of time during a match (much like Rogic) only deciding to show up, when he feels like it. I’d shift him on and spend the wages on someone who delights in playing for the hoops, rather than some charlatan whose clearing bullsh$ting the Celtic support while stealing a wage.
