Ismaila Soro simply must stay at Celtic for the sake of all parties ahead of a crucial summer rebuild. The Ivorian has incredibly been linked with a summer move to Tottenham Hotspur [Daily Mail]. This comes totally out of the blue as we conclude a season in which the Ivorian has only featured 21 times…
Soro is the natural replacement for Scott Brown and in my opinion the most important player we need to keep at Celtic for next season.
However since February the way he has been treated by Kennedy has been really disappointing to see and I wouldn’t blame him if he saw his future elsewhere.
The fact he sat the full 90 minutes on the bench against Aberdeen and Scott Brown played Sunday then Wednesday was absolutely ridiculous!
JK had a great opportunity to mould a new team from the squad after Lennon left. This was his opportunity to show he had his own ideas on the way forward but by not playing the younger hungrier players this was a total cop-out. At least Soro knows that there will be a fresh start with a new manager next season and like the majority of the celtic fans glad to see the back of JK.
Spot on guys totally agree with both. I actually got a wee bit excited when Kennedy first took charge thinking he was going to implement something different. All we’ve heard about regarding Kennedy is how he’s such a modern-thinking coach who any manager would be lucky to have by his side. But he’s made so many basic errors, and Soro not playing is, for me, one of the biggees.
David he has been making them basic errors ever since he was promoted into first team coaching staff during Ronnie’s time. He never learns by his mistakes.
