The SFA have announced that Willie Collum will be in charge for Rangers vs Celtic on Sunday. The Hoops will travel to Ibrox knowing that 3 points will all but secure the title for Ange Postecoglou’s men. Collum has taken charge of 4 Celtic games already this season. The Hoops have come out on top…
David, I think we could’ve had worse appointments for the derby than Collum. I was dreading Walsh, Beaton or Madden, I can’t understand why Walsh gets to officiate any Celtic or Rangers games when his day job is producing the next Academy players for Auchenhowie, surely that’s a conflict of interest right away. He’s given Rangers dodgy penalties as have Beaton and Madden, the one at Dens Park in his last outing was criminal. Morelos and the Dundee defender we’re both fouling each other but el buffalo was more blatant in his efforts and the correct decision should’ve been free kick for Dundee and a yellow card for the portly Ibrox attacker, inexplicably though Madden points to the spot. All in all though if we play to our best then the referee shouldn’t come into it, I think we’ll win 3-1 on Sunday and if we do win I think the league title is coming home.
