Airdrieonians boss Ian Murray has ridiculously predicted that Celtic could finish 4th as he analysed the start of the campaign. The Hoops have had a slow start to the season so far. Sitting in sixth place with only four wins in eight, it’s been a tough period for new manager Ange Postecoglou. Meanwhile, Hearts and…

Who gives a flying monkeys what Ian Murray thinks. His favourite klub won’t even exist in 18 months, as they’re on the road to Finacial ruin like the 1872 mob before them. Slippy’s Agent will be searching out a new club for him as we speak, Goldson won’t sign a new contract, with McGregor & Davis abandoning ship like they done 9 years ago.

The Daily Raijurs rag trying to stir the pot as usual. They all went quiet when H&H started digging in their social media history as they know fine well they would’ve found…I have to be careful here, but let’s say severe detrimental to their careers and life in general if all were laid bare to the public.

Tomorrow will be another “no story” event. It’s all getting a bit dejavu from when the Klub from 1872 died.

I don’t know the man but by his surname am having a wee guess he might be one of them the peepel.

Slow start for us this season has lead to all this stupid media coming out.

The opinion of the current Airdrie boss really matters to no one, lucky he even had it published.

We as fans need to overlook this nonsense and focus on backing our team to start picking up points. A good wee winning run from now till we the next Glasgow derby would be ideal but we have to take each game as they come and celebrate the small wins :four_leaf_clover:

Strange really a Hibs fan who is bigging up Rangers ? a club he barely played for. think its time we moved our B matches and girls team away somewhere else and not give him the income.
Its daft anyway how we be moan the plastic pitch yet let our youngsters play there.
We have not even played Hibs yet and beat hearts at home in a score line that flattered them and was as one sided as both Dundee and St Mirren games.
The daily ranger will do anything to boost the now leaking ship as they struggle to play in games now with crowds watching them instead of the training ground title they won last season.

I have supported celtic for going on 50 years I can remember the 80’s and early 90’s when we finished seasons outside the top 2 and top 3 so it is a possibility we could have a worse season than last year. Putting it down as a slow start is denying there is a chronic problem at Celtic which needs addressed. In the space of 3 years we have gone from driving a Bentley to driving a fiesta.

The Ford Fiesta is the biggest selling car of all time in the U.K.
Over 4 million sold.

We won the European Cup and a Quintuple driving a MK1 Cortina

Yes and there’s thousands of football clubs all over the UK but when you call yourself a global brand you can’t do things on the cheap.

Looking at our finances I’d say we are doing things far from on the cheap

Looking at our finances there is multi millions being taken in dividends and minor investment put into the team and coaching staff.

Yet there we are with Operating Expenses of £74.5m

The fans pay that money into the club the least we can expect is a competent team and coaching staff like we had 4 years ago.

We didn’t have a challenge 4 years ago and our OE’s rose to over £80m since then there’s been a global pandemic that put football on its arse for 18 month and a resurgence from Ibrox
Were you hoping for AVB and a £20m striker?

Celtic don’t sign 20 mill strikers we don’t pay 50k week wages but we can sign 50k managers who make our teams better and improve the players. Celtic were paying 30k wages a week 20 years we still pay 30k wages that’s where our club is. By the way Brendan Roger’s is a better manager than AVB so your point is invalid. Fans have different opinions your POV is different from mine. Am off to work good luck.

Tell that to the Leicester fans now bemoaning their team in Europe and their current League form under him.

Rodgers is a fake and always has been.
when did he make us a global brand? more a European laughing stock with his results.
and as for development where are his stars he produced for us and let remember it was this wise man who played Ralston against Neymar
The people not giving the fans a team they deserve are the board and the current problems are all on there heads not Ange

Celtic have been a global brand long before Roger’s came to the club. Roger’s brought Dembele and Eduoard plus he improved the performances of many players and added a further couple of years to Scott Brown’s career (before he came Brown was a spent force). Oh to have somebody of Roger’s calibre at the club.

Édouard was a £9m signing from PSG ,Spurs offered Fulham £6m for Dembele to sign him in the January and we picked him up for peanuts in the Summer,Sinclair was a premier League level player and he inherited most of the players who brought him success most of whom were developed by Lennon and Deila previously.
He managed to develop a 40 goal in a Season striker to a basket case never to recover his form again.
He also had the biggest budget ever at Celtic in a League with no Rangers and limited Competition.
Therefore his advantage was as big as any Celtic Manager had experienced in decades if not ever.
Meanwhile in Europe he failed again, same as he did at Liverpool with a £300m spend on Transfers and at Leicester.
He’s a good Domestic Manager no doubt but in Europe he’s been found wanting.
He also left us high and dry in the middle of the night in the middle February to go chase the money down south.
Charlatan that seduced the gullible.

All celtic managers work under a budget that they cannot but be found out in Europe. Apart from. Saint Martin whose wage bill matched many premiership clubs (and a lot bigger than Roger’s even with a 15 year gap) that’s as close as we have been come to being a force in Europe. Lennons result against Barcelona comes about once in a decade just like Strachans against Utd. Your points about the two French lads don’t make sense Roger’s brought them to the club along with Sinclair who in his first season was fantastic and as for Lennon developing players he could not develop a cold. Ronnie was a decent coach PERIOD but never a manager. RD and NL have and never will be in BR league as managers. And by the way they were both in charge of celtic when there was no rangers and both never came anywhere near winning what BR won. Clean domestic sweeps for 3 seasons in a row. Yes the man is a dud lol.
