Former Celtic attacker Ryan Christie has admitted to being left wowed by what he saw from Ange Postecoglou in the early stages of the campaign. Christie left Parkhead on the final day of the summer transfer to join Championship outfit Bournemouth. So far, he’ll feel as though the move is paying off with the Cherries…
Ryan Christie is all about Ryan Christie it is fairly evident Celtic was merely a stepping stone for his career progression.
That’s just how it is with a high percentage of modern players the career comes before any allegiance with the Club.
Occasionally you will get a Forrest or a McGregor who despite being good enough to go elsewhere choose to be a one Club man and see their career out if possible at that Club.
The Christie’s come and go with ever increasing regularity.
I think it’s a generational thing.
Look at Kieran “Ultra” Tierney if you want further proof of this.
McGregor and Forrest will be remembered for decades to come.
Just like McStay,McGrain and McNeill
Christie chose to move on so should we.
