I agree it’s worked out quite well for us, and maybe would have if Boey had joined us.
Although he’s a Cameroon international, he is a Frenchman, and for me that rings alarm bells.
Some fantastic French players of course, but i think in general they are temperamental, moody and can be disruptive when things don’t go their way. I’d apply that to Dutch players too…(obviously there are exceptions).
Technically very talented, but temperamental,arrogant and enigmatic are not a good fit for Celtic in my opinion.
Character is everything.
