Sydney van Hooijdonk, son of ex-Celtic icon Pierre, looks set to be on the move this summer. Reliable journalist Nicolo Schira has reported that he’s leaving NAC Breda as a free agent. His next destination? Serie A side Udinese apparently, with a four-year contract set to be agreed. Sydney #VanHooijdonk, the son of the former…

This is annoying. On one hand, if we weren’t considering him, why not? Do we have a better potential incoming option? If we do, when will they be signed? And if we were interested, then yes not having a manager or a DoF will definitely have stopped us doing much here. The difference this season is the fans will (at some point) be allowed into the stadium and if we are missing targets, not monitoring them, putting in poor bids, losing talent for nothing or peanuts, then this season, there will be a vocal message to the board. If however, the player is set on going to Serie A, then that’s his choice, good luck and maybe our paths will cross again
