Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou would be forgiven for taking a minute to exhale after last night, but another test awaits in the form of Livingston. The West Lothian club and their plastic pitch have represented real danger for Celtic over the last couple of seasons. In 2019, a surprise 2-0 defeat had Christopher Jullien apologising…
My biggest concerns are firstly the pitch may become a bit of a leveller as it has recently and secondly that we don’t pick up more injuries on a pitch that should be outlawed in a top division anywhere.
Agree, that pitch should be ripped up and never again allowed in professional football. That’s why I was happy when both Kilmarnock and Hamilton were relegated last year. Hopefully Livingston follow them this season! Their pitch is the worst of the 3 too.
Surely we should be able to beat this team on any surface??
