On a day Celtic remain unscathed in the Scottish Premiership title race, we can’t be too critical of the team that has brought us to this point – but a couple of issues have undoubtedly arisen from today’s match at Ibrox. As a collective, the Bhoys didn’t deserve to lose the game. They earned a…
JJ woefully inept and you can’t blame that on his LB position. He has played there before. Even if he played RB today, he was asleep most of the game and it would have made no difference. Clearly, Johnston performed really well today and deserves to be first choice RB going forward. We should cash in on JJ this month if a decent offer comes in but I wonder if there will be as much interest after that performance!
jj was embarrasing today allowing the erratic Sakala to look better than he is.
his fitness levels were pathetic as was his application he was one player who helped a clueless mob gain confidence and if he dont want to make any real tackles get rid of him. and as i said earlier the same applies to any player who thinks hes too good for us.
For me, Forrest, O’Riley and JJ were woeful. Time to move Forrest and JJ on and give O’Riley a kick up the backside by playing Mooy or Saed. We cannot afford any passengers and today we had far too many!
Yes, JJ was worst player in team today and cost us both goals! The young Argentinian was on the bench and is a left back for gods sake!! What is AP thinking about playing JJ when, by AP’s own admission, he wasn’t ready!!
That’s the worst we’ve played since the St Mirren defeat, and maybe a wake-up call to everyone, including AP.
