We now just need to win 2 games out of 4.
That puts us on 91 points.
If we win all 4 we’ll finish up on 97 points.
We can actually afford to lose 2 games in the run in from the 4 remaining games.
Rangers on the other hand need to win all of their games by at least 5.0 with no goals conceded, and the most points they can reach is 91, and they need to claw back the massive goal difference that we currently hold, and that’s not going to happen.
But that 5.0 in every game for Rangers depends on Celtic not adding to the Goal difference, which is highly unlikely. They might have to win by 6 or 7. 0 after we increase our goal difference, which looks highly likely.
So in short, we would need to implode to lose the advantage we hold currently.
We should beat Rangers when we play them at home, but if the unthinkable happens, and we lose to them, it’s no big deal.
We only need to win 2 out of 4 games, so basically the Rangers game is immaterial
in the grand scheme of thing.
If I’ve got the stats wrong, I’m sure someone will put me right, LOL
