What really shocked and surprised me was the amount of room that Ranger’s allowed us, and what happened to their high pressing game that they like to play.
The answer to these points are in my opinion first and foremost the atmosphere shocked their player, they were like players caught in the headlights, as far as playing a high intensity pressing game the truth is we just didn’t allow them to do that, we were faster, more technical in our play, more intelligent on the ball, and our passing was far superior.
The three goals we scored wouldn’t have looked out of place in any league, including the EPL, that’s without a doubt.
In my opinion we have a younger fitter squad than Ranger’s, not only that, we also have player’s who are more savvy and streetwise than they do, and we look fearless which is a big turnaround from last season. If I were to compare both teams to animals, Celtic’s a Greyhound and Ranger’s a donkey, Hee Haw.
