I was thinking, and not just he was poor today, we really should start to phase Shane Duffy out the team. The league’s over, he’s not going to be here next season, so play the players that will be here next season.
I would start Welsh in every game from now on, with Ajer or Bitton. It’s pointless playing Duffy.
Didn’t mind him starting today given he was good against Hibs up until the equaliser. But if the principle is to not play players who’ll be away next season, Ajer could be added to that list given he’s almost certainly off. Same with Edouard. I mainly wouldn’t play Duffy because he’s been absolutely terrible and has never shown one sign of that changing.
