Had Kyogo shown the composure he’s shown since in front of goal you could easily make a case he might have walked off with the match ball or even 4 goals in that one game had he done so.
The score line flattered Leverkusen but the fact is defensively we were a bit of a shambles at that time.
Time being the key word of course.
Ange hadn’t had the time to bed new players in.
Hadn’t been afforded the time to get us settled and playing his way.
Hadn’t had the time to get the long term absentees up to speed.

Time has passed now and the Leverkusen coach knows a different Celtic is coming to their back yard.
We have proven in every game in Europe we are capable of scoring but non more so than in the away games where we have found the net three times in both games.
If we can defend our own goal better as we have been doing since that game then we stand a good chance of getting a result.
As is always the case though it comes down to putting a performance in and taking those chances when they come.
Bodes well for both a good game and plenty goal scoring chances as both sides go for goals.
