Dundee academy chief Stephen Wright has revealed what Gordon Strachan told him after taking up his role at Celtic. Strachan was appointed by the Hoops in a three-month consultancy role earlier this summer. Celtic said his role would be to help recommend improvements in our academy, B team, and women’s team structures. Effectively, Strachan wouldn’t…
I know this is slightly off topic David but I wonder what your thoughts on the Griffiths situation on loan and what having Strachan in his ear might do for him should we require to call him back in January?
The thing is I don’t think Postecoglou fancies Ajeti much as an out and out poacher and given the close attention Furuhashi will get in the next few months there is a high likelihood he may pick up the odd injury or knock with our workload?

Sure the backlash would have been huge had he been kept on for the start of this Season but I think once he’s weathered the storm at Dundee and got his head down those vociferous Celtic Supporters who have had enough might just be inclined to have a change of heart if the situation changes and warranted his return.
Fans can be very fickle as we know and injuries could play a major role in what happens I feel.
My gut tells me he might be needed in a month or two and IF he’s been banging them in Ange May we’ll be tempted to call him back.
Just wonder what your thoughts on that might be?
On the Strachan thing I find it a bit odd he’s involved in two Clubs and the SFA are fine with that because it could set a dangerous president further down the line.
