Sorry David have to disagree. Kilmala and Bayo should both be punted no matter what the cost. We have so much dead wood at club and out on loan through PL trying to buy marks & Spencer quality in the pound shop. Just look at two examples of PL economics McGinn going to villa for £4mill (reasonable if not a bargain) and for an extra £5m Tony instead of Ajeti. Both these players now valued at £25m a piece. IF possible we should try and get rid of players with no future at club even if it means big losses on transfer fees.

That’s fair enough mate. I’m not totally convinced by Klimala myself and think there tends to be plenty of leeway offered to him by the Celtic support. Bayo I think could offer something different, but totally get why people think he has no future.

However Hendry seems to be doing fairly well for himself as a 25 year old loanee. Not a world beater but solid displays.

Hendry has done well ,out on loan, he can defend ,he can head the ball, his positioning has improved, he definitely should be given a chance back in the 11
We need good defenders
Paul Elliot , was not a world beater ,he could not pass a ball, but he was a great defender ,solid commanded the box won nearly every header. Don’t need world beaters
This whole concept ,of playing from the back, having defenders who can dribble beat players , cross balls , make lung bursting runs into the oppositions box , Works for teams with the best of talents , You need the players to play that way …Sorry we don’t , we need defenders to defend , Hendry would do that job.

The difference being Hendry was loaned in view of getting rid of him and to save us cash it was not a development move and well done to him if he has improved and can now be commanding and dominant in defence. Loaning Klamala at 23 would be a waste of time as we need better than him to be our match winner and if coaches at Celtic want to progress with 1 up front he would need to be loaned to someone like Barcelona to learn more than run around the park
