Why the Green Brigade et al's silent protest is correct response to Celtic problem

There is no conceivable way that Celtic could’ve thought about hiring Bernard Higgins without the Green Brigade and other supporters’ groups reacting. Once Twitter got the faintest whiff that the Assistant Chief Constable of Police Scotland was being considered for a security role at the club, alarm bells rang. This, after all, is the same…

Sorry Euan, I disagree. You say it will not impact on the players because some fans will ignore it. This will give the impression to the Board that the fans are divided on this issue. I will ignore the silent protest but I support the GB et al and do not want this appointment. The GB are the heart of the support and their silence will be felt by the players. The Board only care about money. Boycott buying food at a game and see how that impacts on the bottom line with the threat that this sort of action will escalate unless fans are listened to. Dont do anything that might impact on the team. HH. Lets hope for a good result today.

As usual, factions of “Celtic support” playing games with our club!

Sure, I’m not in favour of this appointment if it is at-all being seriously considered, but to risk jeopardising our teams championship prospects, by withdrawing team support for 30 minutes is every bit as shameful…

There are other ways to protest at this potential appointment, without affecting the team.

If you don’t want to support our team “over and over” , unconditionally, then give up your ticket for someone who will.

Celtic is more than pretentious minority groups within the fan base continually seeking adulation, approval and publicity!

Get a grip!

Ps: If it meant Celtic winning the league and getting back to the glory days, I wouldn’t care if they made Broxy Bear head of security!

Hail Hail :four_leaf_clover::four_leaf_clover::four_leaf_clover:

Well, congratulations to the green brigade. They got their publicity, again, and helped Livingston take 2 points off Celtic!

Can’t wait to see their next move!

Celtic were useless last season without fans and they were the same today with this poorly timed protest. we all agree we don’t want people like Higgins at the club but a silent protest days after the fantastic backing at Easter road on Wednesday was counter productive.
Football without fans is nothing and that’s what we did and got today NOTHING.
To be in a position to have gone to the top of the League today with a board of total incompetence running the club would have been a good players achievement,
