Celtic left-back Boli Bolingoli has had a difficult year. Some of that is his fault, some isn’t. When he went on an ill-advised trip to Spain last August, he was correctly hammered by the club at the time. Neil Lennon said it was totally out of order, and that he’d be severely punished in-house [Guardian].…
I think the hypocrisy lies elsewhere, perhaps in Holyrood. The pandemic was much worse when the Rangers players partied than at the time of Bolingoli and the Aberdeen players. Why no postponement of Rangers fixtures and to take Nicola Sturgeons analogy doesn
t a red card follow a yellow?
How does Boligoli`s trip to Spain sit with Dubai?
Also five Rangers players partied and received a reprimand???
BB deserved what he got. Premeditated selfishness. It had a huge impact on us. Put us behind the eight ball right away, and meant missing two games when we needed them before the CL qualifiers. He laid the groundwork for this debacle of a season.
He was a terrible purchase. Great personality, very fast and master of the three yard pass. The number of times he got the ball in a good spot and simply passed it back or sideways was crazy. He made zero contribution in my mind.
Like Shved and Laxalt, he looked great on the YouTube videos. Like them, that was as good as it got,
