Celtic were always going to find Livingston tricky. Martindale’s side were on incredible form in the build-up to this game, while Celtic had to make a litany of changes. Rogic started alone up front, with returns for Nir Bitton and, rather surprisingly, Anthony Ralston. The Bhoys, understandably, looked disjoined throughout. Celtic were barely able to…
Tom Rogic and Mikey Johnston, for me, were the two biggest disappointments. Johnston had absolutely no room to operate and it showed. His confidence dropped the longer that game went on. Rogic was never going to be a decent false nine in a million years. Could see that performance coming a mile away.
Yeah the Rogic ‘experiment’ was never going to work today
Don’t get why they brought Robertson back from loan and didn’t play him. More I see of Soro, more I like him. Total class.
aye the Robertson thing was very odd
If OkoFlex had been in from the start of the second half he would scored from Ralstons brilliant cross. Fully agree with David.
Robertson not starting didn’t surprise me too much to be honest. It was always going to be a question of who he replaced. Soro, Turnbull, or McGregor? Just couldn’t see that happening. Was disappointed not to see him get a single minute of action though.
