If Callum McGregor is going to be out injured for 4 to 6 weeks, It’s a blessing in disguise for him because the amount of games he’s played over the last few seasons is phenomenal, and to go that long without sustaining a really serious injury until now is amazing.
OK It’s not good from Celtic’s point of view, but the guy needs this time away to give his mind and body a well-earned R&R, and when he returns it’s going to feel like a new player coming into the team.
Have a good rest, Callum mate, we’ll miss you. HH.
Might mean he’s not selected for Scotland squad too. I’m not Scottish so no skin off my back!
Hey! Support your Celtic brothers and help us get to the World Cup. Us Scottish contingent always support Ireland against anyone that’s not us. Here’s me assuming your Irish.
I agree MBM CalMac is a bit of a phenomenon in the modern game in his durability and stamina. His consistency is simply remarkable. He’s going to be a huge loss but as you said it’s time he got some R&R though I suspect that he won’t be happy about it. Time for others to step up.
I’ve been pleased to see Biton doing just that recently. I’d start him and O’Riley against the mini Huns tomorrow night, good practice for the game against the Glasgow version the following Wednesday.
Hail Hail
We just came off a three week break so he should’ve be fine to play through the Darby match imo
Ha! No I understand. I hope Scotland do well a I’m a big fan of Tierney, CalMac, &c.
