Whilst Strachan’s style of play or Management might not have been very modern at Celtic whilst he was in control you cannot ignore the fact that he took Celtic further in Europe than the likes of Rodgers did with arguably better players and a much bigger budget to work from.
Strachan is no mug and no doubt has studied modern trends in this area of Development in order to improve his own understanding of the game.
If we can use his experience in moving things forward then I don’t see any negatives in that.
I’m just shocked that the SFA didn’t block it to be honest because it could cause issues elsewhere with conflicts of interests between other Clubs who may or may not be flaunting rules in order to gain an advantage somewhere on the Park
