A video posted to the North Curve Celtic Twitter account indicates the protest, set to be held at 1pm, a week on Sunday. A short message accompanied the footage, saying: “The Celtic…

It is clear that the board have not been at their best to say the least. The nonsense with Eddie Howe and the drift at the club in general is the responsibility of all board members. It has been poor. Very poor. That said, they did brilliantly in getting Ange. I hope they give him plenty of time. I hope the supporters stick with him. It must be right that some members of the board seriously look at the failure to take Celtic into the modern era. Sadly some of them, if they are decent must take a look at their failures and make the honorable move and resign.

The support will stick with him however the board are so deep in self interest and self preservation and they believe them selves to be untouchable. The plc board at Celtic are a cartel,

Just this little point here John = Protests didn’t really work, other than making a point, last season. What was that point? Getting rid of Liewell or hitting #8’s car? Callum, please walk to the ground saves on the paintwork matey and insurance.

It’s a worry isn’t it. The supporters must make sure that Ange is protected. Board members rarely sack themselves. They must be made to give Ange at least three seasons and give him as much money as can be afforded. We must make it clear to them that they have taken their eye off the ball. We have to be careful about lumping all the board into one spoil heap. Dermot Desmond has been a great benefactor to football in general. It is clear however that some board members must consider their position. It has to be right that some go. I take your point that they will support each other but we must make it very clear that some have to go.

Agreed, I reckon thete are some shadowy figures in the board room who serve no real function other than feathering their own nests. We know lawwell made very good from Celtic as has bankier and when the fences went up last season it was themselves they were protecting, hiding rather than confronting our problems and maintaining the disconnect, this is What is so infuriating. We are a club of the people, formed for the poor with nationalist/republican leanings ans roots embeded n standing against oppression, this arrogant capitalist corporate way of operating is not our way. As you said hold them to account and tell us what is really going on with our club

We are the Celtic people. The players play for a people and a cause. Too many board members have forgotten that. now we hear that our sports science department is not fit for purpose… How long has this been the case. It’s embarrassing… They did identify Ange though which is to their credit. The club needs to modernize big time. Everything needs to be explained to us. The board have to be held to account when things go wrong. We all need to buy shares which at least will give us another weapon in our fight. .

Guys many Celtic players don’t give a toss about you the fans who build them up weekly that was made clear in recent seasons when they all disappear when other offers arise.
Last season players had no cause or fans but showed nothing for the jersey or club they represented.
Protest where it hurts them most is the only answer don’t watch the ■■■■■■ Europa league they are happy for us to play in while making no effort to be a champions league team.

If you want to protest we would be better protesting at St Andrews in October. At least Desmond will witness the protests. He is the kingmaker the man who decides appointments. Protesting at Celtic Park is futile as the board (less DD) are irrelevant.
