Celtic have announced today’s line-up vs Livingston in the Scottish Premiership. The full match squad is as follows: Starting XI – Hazard, Duffy, Bitton, Soro, Turnbull, Rogic, Johnston, Frimpong, McGregor, Ralston, Laxalt. Substitutes – Doohan, Taylor, Connell, Robertson, Oko-Flex, Henderson, Harper, Welsh, Dembele. Due to 14 players self-isolating, today’s team was always going to be…
That must be Ralston’s first game in a long time
First start since July 2019!
Wow, can’t believe it was that long
I always think Ralston is perceived to be a lot worse than he actually is. I think it’s clear he isn’t really Celtic quality, but rarely does he stand out for being poor either.
I’ve long thought Ralston is worth a chance, at least he can actually defend, unlike Elhamed and Frimpong.
More concerned that a) there is no one even resembling a striker - why bring back players from loan deals and not play them???! - b) Biton plays at CH and c) Rogic gets a slot, when he is even less consistent than Elyounoussi.
About the striker, I’m surprised we didn’t bring afolabi back from Dundee, he’s scored in their last two games
I don’t mind Ralston getting a game, but I’m still a fan of Elhamed. Think he’s been unfortunate here with injuries. Will be interesting to see what happens with him in January
