Would be interested to know what percentage of the support is represented by these supporters groups. In this digital age why can’t the club communicate with the whole support as opposed to a select few?
I have no ties to any of these groups, whose interests do these groups represent, is my opinion and that of all those not represented unimportant?
Time for Celtic to have a serious look at how they communicate.

Fair point Divitbhoy. I too am not part of any of these groups. This is merely an exercise in getting groups close to the club on board to sell ST for next year. Social media has proved how inclusive it can be in its use. When the club comments on “the vast majority of our fans condemn the actions of GB/ want to move on from res12” (for example), I’m not sure why they don’t email the support and ask them to vote on it b4 speaking on our behalf. Open forums on line in real time would allow almost every supporter the opportunity to be represented.

I can confirm that the Celtic Trust has not been asked to meet the Club. We are part of a group of 6 organisations who asked for a meeting with them as a follow-up to the meeting last June in which the Club pledged to maintain shareholder value. That meeting will happen next week.

I can also confirm that we represent our members. If you don’t wish to act collectively by joining an organisation that is up to you but you can’t criticise membership organisations for representing their members.
