Celtic may need to act fast to secure a player who’s been likened by French media to Jamie Vardy [20minutesfr]. His name is Rhys Healey. The Toulouse striker is ahead of Celtic’s Vakoun Bayo in the pecking order at the Stadium TFC. Formerly of MK Dons, Torquay United and Dundee, the striker has nine goals…
The chants write themselves.
Is Rhys Healey a gamble, or would he represent good value at £5m?
The French leagues are hurting for cash at the minute. Maybe less?
I can’t say I know anything about him other than what I’ve read here.
Gotta do a bit more research.
Same here matey, however, not to put a dampener on this but 9 in 20 sound unreal? That anyone would even link him with Celtic, let alone sorry to say this Partick Thistle @£5m really. Seventeen or even eighteen but nine, he does look a bit like Vardy but that’s it.
And a late bloomer to me is usually a fantastic amount of goals in the two teams he’s last played for not 20.
Euan, I take it his stats are missing from when he played for Dundee.
He wasn’t good at Dundee.
I’m not saying the boy’s Ronaldo circa 1998 but he’s an option. He seems to have a decent amount to his game, and is a late bloomer at 26.
If and when Eddy leaves, the three defenders we have and one from reserves should be enough. Considering The crap Neil puts on the park leaves the best striker in fourth at the moment? When Leigh should be second with Eddy. Ajeti no use at all, and worse Klimala shouldn’t even be give time on the park. What’s happening at Celtic with regards to buying players? Is it watch them online, or here’s a clip of his scoring eight goals for the season must be worth £5m. Scored fifteen for the first time in his career last season, or was it two seasons ago?
