David Turnbull produced a classy performance to help Celtic to a win over Kilmarnock tonight. Neil Lennon’s team ran out 4-0 winners against the Ayrshire outfit, comfortably picking up all three points. Turnbull created two assists during his time on the pitch. The first was a dangerous corner which met the head of captain Scott…
What a great player he is, and he’ll only get better
I thought we were missing a Stuart Armstrong type since the perfectly-coiffed midfielder left. A player who has a goal threat, yes, but can also deliver from set-pieces, carry the ball from deeper positions and distribute on target and on time. Turnbull, for me, is the man for the job. As I said in the “3 things…” piece, it’s honestly so easy to forget it’s his first season here. He just looks so comfortable.
I like that his inclination is to go forward and not pass it back as too many do. Love this guy.
It’s a team called Kilmarnock with no manager we are playing against…
There are not many in this team who should be allowed to wear the shirt …
20+ points behind …
Simpson, Craig and Tommy G
Murdoch, McNeil, Clark
Johnstone, Chalmers, Wallace, Auld and Lennox
Now they were real Celts …
But even more so ‘ What a manager’
HH
And how many said the same about Ryan till he got put out on the wing.
Here we go again …Same last week
turned a corner
played majestically
back to where we should be
Champion’s league quality … that’s new
We played Kilmarnock, not Barcelona
a team playing worse than us … there is one
a team with no manager …like us
Don’t paper over the cracks
we got 3 points ,end off
Broonie scored , now it will be Captain fantastic , don’t drop him
