When Chris Sutton signed for Celtic, he was at a point in his career where he wasn’t getting much first-team football. His £10m move to Chelsea from Blackburn went sour as he struggled to adapt to their style of football. After just one season, 38 games and two goals, Martin O’Neill signed the big Englishman…

Guys like that these days are very hard to come by (meaning making a move to get more first team football, not worrying about a “drop” in wages).

Unfortunately if the media reports about Liel Abada are true, he’s going in the wrong direction - seeking a move for higher wages, to sit on the bench a helluva lot and probably disintegrate from the world of professional football.

Let’s hope he hangs around and, if we maintain our attacking style, has a lot more to show what he can do :four_leaf_clover:
