Czech Champion, Europa League botherer; the left-field choice for Celtic job

Celtic and Slavia Prague have connections from over a century ago. In 1906, former Celtic player John “Jake” Madden left the UK to implement his own set of tactics at Slavia Prague, an upstart bunch from the Czech capital. In a managerial reign lasting 25 years, Madden left Czechoslovakia as a figure who influenced football…

Good choice? Or did I have to figure out where the accents are on my keyboard for NOTHING?!

It’s all speculations at the minute, while the narcissist Lennon (whos bigger than Celtic, Billy McNeill and the Lisbon Lions) continues to gaslight the fan base with his delusions of grandeur, Jindrich Trpisovsky is being touted as a POTENTIAL name that’s being looked at. Jindrich Trpisovsky (whoever he is) could be a good choice for the managerial position or not, is he the right choice or the cheap ‘Yes Man’ option that would quite happily take the Celtic managerial role and be comfortable being told what to do.

I noticed the interesting line at the end of the fifth paragraph that read “Slavia have consistently made it to the latter stages of the Europa League”, so is this height of Celtics ambition ‘The Europa League’, while Sevco march on into the riches of the ‘Champions League’? If Celtic are to go with Trpisovsky, then it’s a clear statement from the board and Desmond that they have binned the ‘Champions League’ aspirations for the coming season

With Liewell going there will be no one for any manager to be a yes-no man too, there will be someone else doing that not the manager fingers and all crossed. as for the Europa re-read this as it started = Heralded as the “Czech Klopp” [Reuters], Trpišovský’s travails in Europe will be of the most interest to Celtic supporters. Yep, that was a full stop b4 the team’s constant progress in the Europa league. To me, that means he’s good at European football. Not that we need a new manager or anything? Or so Neil here for the future says.

I don’t see it that way. It sounds to me that if this manager can get a small club to be that successful, going to a big club like Celtic could mean even greater European heights. Also, Celtic haven’t made it through a Europa League knockout do that WOULD be a step in the right direction. Not our ultimate ambition but a positive.

The way things are going with the carve up of champions League , between ENGLAND SPAIN GERMANY & ITALY , …6 team from England proposed for 2023
Europa League will only be our way into Euro football,
This is a money making exercise , we Celtic &Scottish football are not welcome.

Champions League , is a joke , should solely be for the League winners of each European member, not 2nd place , 3rd place, 4th place , as is just now

RE: The Europa League, I wouldn’t say it’s the summit of the club’s ambition, but at the very least a quarter-final run would be excellent for us in the short-term. A manager like Jindrich Trpisovsky would help us achieve that.

I’m basing that on his record in management, his ability to get the best out of players that aren’t household names, and his history in the transfer market. I think he’d have all the tools to be excellent with us. If he was given time, and the budget to succeed, I really do think he’s an outstanding candidate, and one Celtic should definitely be thinking about.

“at the very least a quarter-final run would be excellent for us in the short-term”, hate to be the pessimistic but based on the attitude that Celtic have shown this season especially and towards European football in general over the past decade, as in, “If we make it great, it’s a big house party that we don’t take that seriously anyway, we’ll all just show up, have a sing-song and head home at the end of the night”, “If we don’t qualify, ahh well let’s do just about enough to stay a hairbreadth ahead of Sevco, if we can, We Need To Keep This League Competitive”. Do you think that a manager like Jindrich Trpisovsky would want to work with a footballing business with that type of unprofessional, amateur attitude?

Even with the appointment of Dominic McKay and possibly Fergal Harkin, I fully expect Celtic to go into full-on self-preservation mode over the next five years, to save money, to hoard as much of it as they can for themselves. Everything will be blamed on the Pandemic, seeing that “The Clown”, “Lawwell” and “Desmond” are of the opinion that COVID was cooked-up and engineered in a basement lab deep within the bowels of MI5 London headquarters and released upon the world with the sole purpose of preventing Celtic’s 10IAR. Remember Celtic are the only club, in the world, to have been hit the hardest, according to the delusion Clown.

Celtic have proven this year, that they don’t care about the fans, they just want your money. Celtic have no problem lying to their support and the proof is in the pudding

1): The January review? Where is it?
2): Lennon stated that he would hold his hands up and walk away if things deteriorate? They have, and he’s still here?
3): Heres even more proof of how low Celtic are prepared to go, just to stick it to a fan base that dared to question their complete incompetence this season. They NOT making any moves to help restore any faith or the relationship lost between themselves and the current season ticket holders fans, no, what they are doing in such a sneaky and weasley move, is sniffing around other Celtic fans that are on waiting lists instead, absolute dirtbags that the board are, check the link out below.

Here’s what to expect over the next year and beyond

1): Celtic (in the lead-up to season ticket renewals) will play upon the emotional heartstrings of the support by using their usual media outlet channels to pump out misinformation about all these ‘Elite Managers’ that their after (not really). As usual, the 'Faithfull Blind and Gullible Brigade ’ (the largest section of the overall Celtic Support) will bite handing their money over without question. When all the season ticket renewals money has been hoarded, all those ‘Elite Managers’ will suddenly drop off the radar like flies, Lennon is backed in because he was never going anyway.

2): Every excuse will be concocted to kept their ‘Yes Man” Lennon onboard

“We’re Completely Skint And Have To Sell In Order To Buy”
“Our Rebuild Will take A Few Years”
“We Have To Be Careful, Managers That We Spoke To Weren’t Keen On a Slow And Methodical Rebuild Idea, They Wanted To Hit The Ground Running, We Couldn’t facilitate that”

3): All top players assets to sold at whatever decent price Celtic can get for them and replaced with more 'Journeymen and ‘Project Players’
