I’ve been screaming for Welsh to be involved all season along with Soro. Obviously Turnbull wasn’t with us at the start but the tardiness with which he was introduced when he did arrive was disgraceful.

Welsh played in the first game against the zombies and was probably one of our better players on the day.

After that however, he disappeared from view and we were left with the Duffer to bring some gelatinous-like qualities to the back-line.

Welsh and either Jullien or Ajer should’ve been our central partnership or all three in a 352.

Playing until the end of the season will tell if he has what it takes. So far he’s been solid. Would like to see him alongside Ajer.

I would like to see a central pastor pair of Ajer and Welsh too but that means playing Ralston or Elhammed at right back.
