I hate to say this but the team is not good enough to win the league this season.
If it were not for our injuries it might be a different story,. But here we are.
We are third in the league,. We are 5 behind Rangers and 6 behind hearts and that in itself is an uphill battle even with a fully fit squad.

If we don’t win today that would put a rubber stamp on our poor season.
Come next season we will need to have a big clear-out,. There is way to much deadwood in the team and far too many players under performing.
The new Manager has a huge task in front of him.
It’s imperative that he is given a decent size kitty to work with, and also the ability to move out players that won’t fit his system,. Or he thinks aren’t good enough to wear the Celtic Jersey.
These are the Players I think should be moved on,
Kasper Schmeichel, Auston Trusty, Luke McCowan, Anthony Ralston, Paulo Bernado, Junior Adamu, Michel-Ange Balikwisha, Joel Mvuka, Daizen Maeda, Tomas Cvancara and some of the loaned out players,. Such as Inamura, Nawrocki, Palma, Yamada.
Your probably thinking that’s way too many to move on, but in my view they are not up to Celtic’s high standard,. Apart from Maeda that is, but he wants out anyway,. So the best thing to do is let him go.
Apart from anything else moving these players on will free up a huge amount of capital to bring in new players, that’s over and above the kitty the new Manager will be allocated.
