Celtic manager Neil Lennon is on the ropes. There’s no doubt there. For what it’s worth, I’ve already made my feelings clear. Lennon has never had the tactical nous to be a long-term success at the Celtic. It sounds harsh, but it’s true. The team selections have constantly baffled, while in-game substitutions get odder by…
I can’t see him playing the youngsters unless we have another crisis tbh.
I just can’t accept him staying end of… he just wants a big money pay off and knows exactly what he’s doing to get it… Lawell n DD need to suck it up and get rid they’ve created a monster by continuing to back him…
You’re not wrong Kezzer. Welcome to the forums, thanks for joining!
Play the kids nothing to lose. Lets see what Ajeti can do given a run of games and Sell Eddy Christie Ntcham if possible next week because their values are heading south at a rate of knots come the summer with one year left on their contracts we will do well to get £15 mill for all 3. Keep the money for new manager because he is gonna need it and let’s see what the kids can do under pressure (unlike most seasons when they get to play end of season games when league is over).
Euan , great post
But you too are being to loyal… only dropping duffy… SCOTT BROWN ,club captain needs to be punted, HE WAS GREAT , nothing left in him.
hh
Playing too many youngsters will only ruin them. If they are not ready no point in throwing them in . They should be playing in a B team in a lower league. We are all struggling with this. The real point is that Neil has not the tactical nous needed at this level. You just can’t keep asking players to play in a way that they are not comfortable with. Duffy in particular has suffered with this. He is a good player. He is not Liam Brady though. No wonder Barkas earlier on was all over the place. God bless Lenny but we need a manager/coach who understands how to defend as a team. A European manager or perhaps Roy Keane would suit. We just need to be put out of our misery. A new manager now will have time to assess the players and be better prepared for next season.
Agree with all of that, but I can’t see a new manager coming in until next season
Roy Keane is the last man I would want anywhere near Celtic.
He’s not who’d I go for either, tbh. I’m not really sure who I want to be the next manager.
Would love to see the Benitez link come to something, but Even if he showed any interest, I can’t see the board either spending the money or tolerating a heavyweight manager who could put them in their collective place.
Big name managers of the ilk of Rafa , is pie in the sky
the likes of Keane please god no…football has moved forward
Hate to say it , take a leaf out of Rangers book and get a young manager that lights up the fans giving them hope Gerrard has been a great move by them .
Not sure who tho
