Celtic have the right to do this but it’s about the morale aspect. That’s where it becomes difficult for me to accept personally. We can go to Dubai on a trip that will cost well in excess of £200k, but we can’t continue to pay for the under-18s and instead put it on the tax-payer? I don’t know, it does irk me a touch. But I can see the other side of it too given a lot of companies who are in a position to dip into their own pockets are taking advantage of the furlough scheme. I just think, with everything that’s going on with the club just now, this would’ve been better to not have been carried out.
