Neil Lennon has clarified how his Celtic side is playing tonight as he explained why Griffiths and Edouard are starting together. Griff and Eddy were the successful combination that fired Celtic to nine-in-a-row last season. However, after a flurry of cameos together earlier this season, they’ve rarely played with each other since. Between the two…

It was good against a side whom are struggling. Against better opposition i wonder how things will go. Our full backs at time were dreadfully out of position and against a side who can play we would be in big trouble. Hazard still has problems with crosses. Hed reminds me of De Gea when he first came to Man Utd. He can be a great keeper if he sorts out this glaring problem. If we play two up front and Duffy fit again it will be Frimpong who drops into the subs bench with Ajer at full back . We must always play four at the back with Duffy and Julien understanding each other. and the full backs attacking sensibly and not all gung ho. School boy tactics have to stop. We have messed up in Europe because of our stupid tactics and we may have given ourselves too much to do in the league as a result of stupid tactics employed earlier in the season. Lenny is a great bloke and a Celtic man but his mistakes tactically have cost us. God Bless you all and a Happy Christmas to everyone.

I don’t expect Lennon to go with two up top at Ibrox to be honest. Just my honest view, but it seems too risky for him to do. He’s never once gone with it in the past, and we can’t be too gung ho when we go there. You make a great point about the full-backs. I think at times they’re caught far too high up the pitch and don’t get back quickly enough.

I would love to see Ajer start at right-back vs Rangers too to be honest. See how much joy Kent has up against someone like him - I would suspect it would be minimal. Let’s see what the manager does. Hopefully we pick up another momentum booster with three points against Accies today!

Merry Christmas Chris and thank you so much for commenting.
